For those of you who find my challenges a little too easy, I have an extreme challenge for you called “Precise Object Spacing.” Don’t worry, you don’t need any special Notebook skills or knowledge to complete this challenge, you just need to be a little creative.
To take part in this challenge, you will need to download the challenge #9 Notebook file. If you can complete the challenge, then write a brief description for how you completed it and send back the Notebook file with your completed solution and a description for how you did it.
This challenge also has an Extreme Challenge portion called “Faster than the Master.” If you decide you want to compete in the Extreme Challenge portion, then you’ll have to send a video to prove you did the challenge and that you were faster than the master.
Here’s a video with more detail:
The first person to submit a video that demonstrates a technique for spacing objects precisely and can beat my best time will receive the first ever Faster than the Master award.
The challenge Notebook file has further instructions.

I am baffled! Looking forward to some help…
I did it!!! http://www.district87.org/staff/obertsa/SMART/challenge.htm
I tried recording in Notebook 10 but was unsuccessful; however, the solution is worth trying.
I deleted all but 2 smiley faces. I then moved them and aligned them top and bottom using all of the alignment guide tools. I selected the 2 smiley faces, grouped them, copied them and pasted them. I move the left face over the right face, hit paste, and repeated this until I had 6 faces. I then grouped them. I works pretty slick. Sorry I couldn’t get it to record.
I used a table. Re-sized the table and moved the smiles one by one into the table to put them in a row. I don’t know how many seconds it took but it was pretty quick.
i did it bia the tabvle method as well, very quick and easy
i did it via the table method as well, wish i had tried the Suzanne’s method
I tried and tried… first thing I tried was with a table, but then couldn’t get rid of the lines, and the top of the heads were cut off… hummm
looking forward to the answer!
