Written by Oddly enough, two people asked me this week how to color in a freehand drawing using the Smart Notebook software. Even though you cannot use the Fill Tool to color fill a freehand drawing, there are a couple of ways to accomplish this in Notebook.
Here's a short video tutorial that demonstrates how to draw a freehand image of a lake and color it blue.You can use the same technique in succession to color fill multiple enclosed areas of a detailed freehand drawing.

Note: If you purchased the Math Tools, you can use the Irregular Polygon tool to create unique shapes and then use the Fill Tool to add color.
