For teachers looking for a fun way to use the SMARTBoard to help teach Algebra concepts, why not have your students create their own instruction videos.

Since my readers are users of SMART Boards, my solution for creating Mathcasts quickly and easily is to use your SMART Board and the Sketchcast website. Sketchcast will allow you to create, store, and share your Mathcasts. You don’t need any other tools other than a SMART Board and a microphone (if you want to include audio).

I would like to show you two videos. The first video demonstrates how I used the SMART Board interactive whiteboard to record a Sketchcast that describes how to do a math problem. The second video is the actual Sketchcast video that was created during the first video.
